Truck carrying fireworks for Ram temple event catches fire
PTC News Desk: A truck transporting fireworks reportedly to the Ram temple event in Ayodhya caught fire on Tuesday night, officials said.
The truck caught fire late at night in Khargi Kheda village of Purva Kotwali, Unnao, they said.
Videos show the truck engulfed in flames as fireworks shoot out of it. Officials said the truck burned for more than three hours before being extinguished.
According to reports, the truck carrying fireworks might be heading to Ayodhya for the grand consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. However, the reports have not been officially confirmed. The cause of the fire is not yet known. There have been no reports of injuries from the incident.
