Umesh Pal murder: UP Police issue lookout notice against Atiq Ahmad's wife Shaista Parveen, others
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), May 16: Uttar Pradesh police have issued lookout notices against slain gangster Atiq Ahmad's wife Shaista Parveen and his close aides Guddu Muslim and Sabir.
According to officials, a bounty of Rs 50,000 has already been declared in the name of Shaista Parveen.
Despite their best attempts, the police have been unable to locate Parveen and the other two. Officials believe that in such a case, they may flee the country.
As a result, authorities have issued lookout notices against them. According to officials, the Prayagraj Police Department had previously forwarded its report to the Uttar Pradesh government in this regard.
A lookout notice for one year has been issued against them to prevent them from leaving the country.
The alert has been sent to all immigration checkpoints, and if they are apprehended while attempting to flee the country, Prayagraj police will receive an alert from the agencies involved.
On April 9, the UP police raised the reward for Shaista Parveen, the wife of deceased criminal Atiq Ahmad. She has a Rs 50,000 reward on her. On April 19, UP police launched raids in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, in search of Shaista.
According to the police, search efforts in Prayagraj and surrounding areas are still ongoing. Shaista has been on the run since the death of Atiq Ahmad, his brother Ashraf, and Atiq's son Azad Ahmad in an encounter with the STF on April 13.
