Uttar Pradesh shocker: Man chokes daughter to death, chops body over visit to neighbour's House
PTC News Desk: In a shocking murder case, a father choked her five year old daughter to death in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur and later chopped her body into several pieces.
The accused has been identified as Mohit Mishra revealed the shocking reason behind the brutal murder that he committed. According to the police officials, Misra was angry because his daughter Tani visited his neighbours with whom he had a dispute.
A senior police official said that on February 25, Mohit himself filed a missing persons complaint and several teams were deployed to find the deceased child.
"We registered a case and four teams were formed to find her. During the search, we found a piece of her body. The next day, we found other parts. By now, it was clear that she had been murdered," Additional Superintendent of Police Pravin Ranjan Singh said.
He added that they had been questioning people repeatedly as part of the probe when the girl's father disappeared. "The father gave his phone to his wife and disappeared. When he disappeared, we asked the family members about the events that took place before the child went missing. When the father resurfaced, he was questioned and he eventually confessed to killing the girl and disposing of the body," the officer said.
The accused said that on the day of the incident, he saw his daughter coming from their neighbour's house which exacerbated his anger. He further said that despite repeated warnings, his daughter often visited their house. Eventually he then took the child to a deserted place and choked her to death using her own clothes and threw the body in a mustard field.
The police had questioned over 100 people in connection with the case and Mohit was subjected to suspicion after he went missing they found pieces of child's body.
