Uttarkashi bus accident: 3 killed, 14 injured in road accident in Uttarakhand
Uttarkashi bus accident: A passenger bus met with an accident near Ganganani in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi after losing control, killing three women and injuring 14 others.
According to officials, the incident took place while the bus was travelling from Gangotri Dham to Uttarkashi.
"The accident on Tuesday night injured 14 people, 12 critically, and killed three women passengers. The seriously injured have been referred to AIIMS Rishikesh and Doon Hospital Dehradun," the police stated.
After receiving information about the tragedy, the police, along with SDRF, NDRF, revenue, and other disaster response teams, rushed to the location and conducted a rescue operation.
The injured were promptly sent to the hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred while the bus was en route from the famed Gangotri Dham to the town of Uttarkashi, according to the authorities.
