Tamil Nadu accident: In a horrific, dreadful and spine-chilling incident, at least four killed, 8 injured as four vehicles collided with each other resulting in trail of destruction.
The distressing collision unfolded in Tamil Nadu's Dharmapuri district on Thoppur Ghat and leaves a trail of destruction at the spot.
The CCTV footage of the horrific collision reveals the sequence of events which captured the collision of a speeding truck with another and subsequently crushed a car, while another vehicle lost control and fell off the bridge.

Meanwhile, expressing deep sorrow over the fatal mishap, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to those undergoing treatment for injuries.

Rescue operations were launched swiftly with the fire brigade and various emergency services quickly responding to the scene to provide assistance.

Another footage from the vicinity depicted smoke rising from the accident site, engulfing the area in flames as all three trucks were ablaze.
