Watch visuals: In horrific, unfortunate and unsettling incident from Delhi’s Connaught Place area, a traffic police constable who was on duty was seriously injured after a speeding SUV hit him and thrown him into the air at Delhi’s iconic and most-hyped CP.
The dreadful incident unfolded on the intervening night of 24th-25th October when at around 1 am late night, when Delhi traffic cop flings into air after speeding SUV hits him and drives on through the barricades.
The shocking visuals from the CCTV footage shows that how police cop was on his duty at the check post and how the horrific incident resulted in head and leg serious injuries to police cop as he was tossed in the air before he fell on the busy road.

The incident happened on the intervening night of 24th-25th October. Police detained the car driver and action was taken against him.

After hitting police constable, speeding SUV also rammed into another vehicle at the checkpost.
Taking swift action into the spine-chilling incident, Delhi traffic police arrested the SUV driver and registered case against him.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.

Such incidents in the most iconic areas of Delhi raises safety concerns of residents especially children and elderly people.
