PTC News Desk: A day after fatal stampede broke out at New Delhi railway station that claimed 18 lives, a video surfaced showing a Railway Police Force (RPF) lady constable rigorously balancing the weight of her responsibility and motherhood.

In the video, a lady constable is seen meticulously managing crowds at the New Delhi railway station while carrying her one year old child in tow. Seeing her dedication, several passengers saluted her as a mark of respect.

At least 18 people including 4 children were killed and several others injured in stampede at New Delhi railway station on Saturday night.

The investigation revealed that an announcement about a special train for Maha Kumbh devotees and a sudden increase in ticket sales to Prayagraj contributed to the tragic event.

The report stated that on Saturday night, hundreds of passengers were waiting on platform 14 to board a train to Prayagraj, while many others gathered on the nearby platform 13 to board the Swatantrata Senani Express, which travels from New Delhi to Darbhanga. However, the Swatantrata Senani Express was delayed and rescheduled to depart at midnight, causing passengers to remain on the platform.
