New release date of Prabhas's Adipurush announced
March 1, 2022: The makers of 'Adipurush' have announced the release date of the film on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair, the film will hit the screens on January 12, 2023.
Directed by Om Raut, the film casts Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas in the lead roles. Bahubali Actor Prabhas while sharing the new poster on Instagram wrote: "#Adipurush Worldwide Theatrical Release in 3D on 12th Jan 2023".

Earlier, the film was scheduled to release in August this year but was pushed back to coordinate with the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, the shoot of which is still incomplete.
The upcoming film revolves around the triumph of good over evil. 'Adipurush' is said to be the adaptation of Ramayana. As per reports, Bahubali star Prabhas will play the role of Lord Ram, whereas Sunny will play Lakshman and Kriti Sanon is said to play the role of Sita in the film while Saif will portray Raavan's role. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is also the most expensive project that Indian films have ever made.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has several other projects on the list that includes Spirit, Radhe Shyam, and Salaar.
