As Nitish Kumar was elected Chief Minister of Bihar, it has been announced that Bihar will have two Deputy Chief Ministers. Nitish was unanimously elected the Bihar Chief Minister by the legislature party and he will be sworn-in as the Bihar CM on Monday. Kumar met Governor Phagu Chauhan to stake claim to form the NDA government in Bihar. As Nitish Kumar was elected Chief Minister of Bihar, it has been announced that Bihar will have two Deputy Chief Ministers. The oath-taking ceremony would be held on Monday afternoon at around 4.30 pm, Kumar said after leaving Raj Bhavan in Patna. On being asked if former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi will be part of Nitish Kumar's new cabinet, the JD(U) chief said that the final decisions were yet to be taken. The NDA secured a majority in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. BJP had won 74 seats, JD-U 43, while eight seats were won by other NDA constituents. -PTC News-
