Phagwara MLA Som Prakash's gunman shot himself, seriously injured Phagwara MLA Som Prakash's gunman has been seriously injured after he shot himself, here on Thursday night. The injured gunman was identified as Nirmal Singh of Gobindpura, Punjab. According to information, the bullet was hit in the stomach after which the gunman was immediately taken to a local hospital in Jalandhar. The reason for attempt to suicide is yet to be clear. -PTC News
