Lok Sabha elections 2024: BJP releases sixth list of 3 candidates

Lok Sabha elections 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its sixth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The list includes the names of three candidates from Rajasthan and Manipur.

The saffron party has fielded Kanhaiya Lal Meena from Rajasthan's Dausa constituency, meanwhile, Indu Devi Jatav will contest from Karauli-Dholpur.


Rajasthan has 25 parliamentary constituencies and will vote in two phases. Polling on 12 seats will take place in Phase 1 (April 19), with the remaining 13 seats to be voted on in Phase 2 (April 26).

The party has also fielded Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh for the Inner Manipur Lok Sabha seat.

The Lok Sabha elections in Manipur will be held in two phases, with the first phase on April 19 and the second on April 26.

Voting for 543 Lok Sabha seats will be held in seven phases beginning April 19. Nearly 97 crore voters are eligible to vote in the general election.

Vote counting will take place on June 4.
