PTC Web Desk: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is currently dedicated to taking care of his wife Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who is fighting cancer. Dr Navjot Kaur has undergone her fifth round of chemotherapy, leaving her considerably weakened.

On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu has not left her side for the past four months. On Thursday, he shared pictures on social media, where he can be seen feeding her. “The wounds have healed but the mental scars of this ordeal will remain. Fifth chemo underway. Finding a good vein went all in vain for some time, and then Dr Rupinder’s expertise came in handy. She refused to move her arm, so spoon-fed her,” the Congress leader wrote on Twitter. Now, he is planning a trip to Manali to provide both mental and physical well-being to his wife.

"With the final chemotherapy session completed, considering the substantial emotional reactions after such an extensive procedure, dealing with the extreme heat and excessive moisture, it's time to take her to Manali for solace," he said.

Navjot Singh Sidhu said he would soon take Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu along with the entire family to Manali. After each round of chemotherapy, Navjot Singh Sidhu is ensuring that Dr Navjot Kaur receives mental and physical peace, either here or there. Now that the last therapy session has concluded, the Congress leader plans to take his entire family to the mountains.

Navjot Kaur is under the care of Dr. Rupinder Batra at Waryam Singh Hospital located in Yamunanagar, Haryana. She was diagnosed with stage-2 invasive cancer in March and has undergone surgery.
