'INDIA will provide MSP to farmers': Rahul Gandhi assures people in Amritsar
Rahul Gandhi in Punjab: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday addressed the crowd in Punjab's Amritsar ahead of polling in Punjab for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Rahul Gandhi is campaigning for the party's Lok Sabha candidate from Amritsar Gurjeet Singh Aujla.
Addressing the gathering, Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP over the three now-repealed farm laws and assured farmers that if the INDIA bloc comes to power, it will provide legal MSP.
Addressing the crowd in Amritsar, Rahul Gandhi stated that if the INDIA bloc is voted to power, it will create 30 lakh government jobs and ensure guaranteed apprenticeship for all degree/diploma holders with a stipend of Rs 1 lakh per year.
"We brought MNREGA, which benefited lakhs of people. However, graduates were unable to benefit from it. Pehli naukri pakki will be a scheme similar to MNREGA that will benefit the nation's educated youth," Rahul Gandhi said.
Rahul Gandhi reiterated his party's promise to launch the Mahalaxmi Yojana if elected. Under this scheme, the Congress has promised to provide '8,500 per month and '1 lakh annually to women from below the poverty line families.
