PTC News Desk: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu declared on Wednesday that his government had successfully navigated a looming crisis posed by rebel MLAs, thwarting the BJP's alleged conspiracy to destabilise the administration. Sukhu emphasized that there is unequivocally no consideration of accepting the resignation tendered by Vikramaditya Singh, a minister in the Himachal Pradesh government and the son of the late Virbhadra Singh.
In an apparent show of solidarity and familial bonds, Sukhu likened Vikramaditya Singh to his younger brother, asserting his commitment to addressing any grievances or concerns raised by him. This statement by the Chief Minister comes in the wake of political turbulence within the state, with speculations rife about attempts to engineer defections or disrupt the stability of the government.
Sukhu's assertion underscores the resolve of the ruling party to maintain cohesion and fortify its position against potential challenges from opposition maneuvers or internal dissension.
