CBI unveils suspended DIG Bhullar's abroad connection: Owns 2 flats in Dubai, 3 in Canada
PTC News Desk: In a significant development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has established suspended DIG Harcharan Bhullar's foreign connection. According to the reports, that Bhullar travelled to Dubai around 10 times while still in service. The CBI has seized his passport and is using it to gather details of his foreign trips.
According to official CBI sources, investigations so far have revealed that Bhullar owns two flats in Dubai and three in Canada. In addition, the central agency has traced around 55 acres of land in Ludhiana and 20 shops in the Machhiwara area linked to him. The CBI suspects that Bhullar may have acquired properties abroad during his tenure in the police.
According to sources, the agency is now working to trace the sources of funds used for these assets and is also investigating whether any of the properties were purchased under other names. More revelations regarding Bhullar’s assets are expected in the coming days.
