Clash breaks out between farmers, police in Mansa; SHO Bhikhi, several others injured
PTC News Desk: An intense clash broke out between police and farmers in Lelewala village, Mansa. According to reports, several people were injured during the confrontation, including farmers and police officers.
Tensions rose as farmers marched from Mansa to Lelewala, where there is a disagreement over the Gujarat gas pipeline project. The incident became violent, prompting a lathi charge by the police.
SHO Bhikhi suffered serious injuries, with reported serious injuries to both of his hands. During the clash, two other SHOs and several police officers were injured.
According to reports, some farmers were also injured during the conflict.
