Gave more than 26,000 jobs in 10 months, claims Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann
Chandigarh, 30 January: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said the state had created a new record by providing government jobs to 26,074 deserving youth entirely on the basis of merit.

The Chief Minister said that only and only merit is the only basis for recruitment on government jobs. He said that a completely transparent approach is being ensured in this recruitment process so that the promising youth join the State Government. Bhagwant Mann expressed the hope that this would help in harnessing the immense power of the youth.
The Chief Minister said that during the ten months of his tenure, the state government has taken many exemplary decisions, while other parties used to make promises to the people during the preparations for the elections, but they did not fulfil promises, they gave guarantees to the people but could not fill any.
