Jalandhar resident arrested for 'molesting' air hostess on Dubai-Amritsar flight
Amritsar, May 15: A Jalandhar resident has been arrested for allegedly molesting an air hostess on a Dubai-Amritsar flight, the police said on Monday. He was stated to be in an inebriated state.
The accused has been identified as Rajinder Singh from Kotli village of Jalandhar in Punjab. It is learnt that the accused entered into a verbal fight with the air hostess and allegedly molested her, the police said.
The crew members immediately reported the matter to the Amritsar control room and the assistant security manager lodged a police complaint.
The accused was arrested upon his arrival at Shri Guru Ramdas ji International Airport in Amritsar. He has been booked under various sections of the IPC.
