Kisan Andolan 2.0.| After the death of a youth Shubhkaran Singh in the ongoing farmers' protest, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has said that they will not cremate the person until he gets justice.

Taking to media, Pandher said that a First Information Report (FIR) should be lodged against the Haryana Police. 


He further said, "Case under Section 302 IPC should be registered against those who are responsible for the death (of a farmer). We will not cremate that youth until he gets justice. There should be a complaint against the Haryana police and paramilitary who shot him.”

A distressing incident unfolded on Wednesday at the Khanauri border, marking the first casualty as a 24-year-old protester succumbed to severe head injuries inflicted during a clash with the Haryana Police according to the reports. ShubhKaran Singh, the young protester, tragically lost his life despite desperate appeals for peace from various quarters.

Moreover, another protesting farmer died at the Khanauri border, bringing the toll to 4 during the ongoing protest under the call for Delhi Chalo.

To press the Centre to accept their demands, including a legal guarantee for minimum support price (MSP) for crops and farm debt waiver.

The protesting farmers have been camping at the Shambhu border near Ambala since the start of the protest. Several farmers and police personnel were injured in the clashes during the March that started on February 13. 

During the last round of talks, which ended past midnight on February 18, the panel of three Union ministers had proposed buying five crops -- moong dal, urad dal, tur dal, maize and cotton -- from farmers at MSP for five years through central agencies.
