Punjab Police, BSF recover Pakistani drone from Amritsar’s Mahawa
PTC News Desk: A joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, on Monday morning recovered another Pakistani drone on near Punjab’s Amritsar border.
The drone was recovered near Mahawa village in Amritsar following a search operation launched by the BSF and Punjab Police on specific information.
Notably, in the wee hours of Monday deployed troops at the Amritsar border area intercepted movement of suspected drone near Mahawa village in Amritsar.
In a joint search operation by Punjab Police and BSF at around 9:15 am, a drone was recovered from the paddy field on the outskirts of Mahawa.
The recovered drone is a quadcopter (model: DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China).
BSF Punjab Frontier also took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “After intercepting a drone movement, @BSF_Punjab & @PunjabPoliceInd recovered a #Pakistani drone (DJI Mavic 3 Classic) from a paddy field, in a joint search operation in Village-Mahawa, District - Amritsar, #Punjab. #AlertBSF”
