Punjab Police seize 20 kg heroin, two held
Chandigarh, July 23: In a significant breakthrough against trans-border narcotic smuggling networks, the Special Surveillance and Operations Cell (SSOC) in Fazilka successfully recovered 20 kilograms of heroin. Two people have also been arrested.
Giving information on Twitter, the official DGP Punjab Police account posted, "In a major breakthrough against trans-border narcotic smuggling networks, SSOC #Fazilka recovered 20 Kg Heroin after arresting two persons."
According to the information, arrested persons picked up the drug consignment from Village Hasta Kalan which was air-dropped with the help of drones.
