Punjab sacrilege case: Desecration incidents spark outrage among devotees
Patiala, October 20: Recently another sacrilege incident has surfaced in the village of Molgarh in Patiala district, Punjab, where an individual desecrated the revered Sri Guru Granth Sahib by setting it on fire. This act of sacrilege has deeply wounded the religious sentiments of the community, inciting widespread anger and outrage.
Reports suggest that the individual responsible for this heinous act is believed to be mentally disturbed. However, questions are now being raised within the community about the recurring nature of such incidents. Why are these acts of sacrilege, whether within temples or Gurudwaras, continuing to transpire in Punjab? The community demands to know why those who commit such acts are often labeled as mentally disturbed.
