Religious conversion in Punjab: BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa seeks CM Mann’s intervention

Chandigarh, December 18: Senior BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday condemned Christian Missionaries ‘forcing Sikh community of Punjab to become Christian’. Taking it to the social media site twitter, Manjinder Singh Sirsa wrote, “Christian Missionaries are conducting their conversion program in the holy land of Chamkaur Sahib where the Sahibzadas of Dasmesh Pita Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji had given martyrdom. Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have already betrayed Sikhs but SGPC and Akal Takht Jathedar Sahib should raise their voice against this.”

Demanding the intervention of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan and Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib in this matter, Sirsa said that it is really unfortunate that where the battle of religion was fought on the land of Dasam Pita Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, today the same place is witnessing forced religious conversions.
