SAD councilor from Jandiala Guru Harjinder Singh shot dead in Amritsar
PTC News Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal's councilor Harjinder Singh was shot dead on Sunday in Amritsar's Chheharta on Sunday. Harjinder Singh who was a sitting councilor from Jandiala Guru was shot dead by unknown assailants.
Earlier, gunshots were fired at Harjinder Singh's house in Jandiala Guru and multiple threats were issued to him and his family. The case pertains to long-standing enmity. He was shot twice at point blank range in his head.
The exact cause behind the murder has not been ascertained yet.
The police has registered a case and launched investigation into the matter.
