SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal performs religious penance at Takht Sri Fatehgarh Sahib
PTC News Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal commenced his 'sewa' or religious penance at takht Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. He will be taking religious punishment on December 7 and Dcember 8.
On fifth day of the punishment, Sukhbir Singh Badal has reached takht Sri Fatehgarh Sahib after completing his 2-day sentence at Golden Temple in Amritsar and Sri Keshgarh Sahib.
Akali leader has been under tight security after assassination bid at Golden Temple in Amritsar and nobody from the congregation is allowed to draw closer to him. Visuals showed Sukhbir Singh Badal, a Z protectee, wearing a blue 'sewadar' uniform and seated at the gurdwara entrance with a spear in one hand, surrounded by security personnel.
After serving his sentence at Golden Temple, Sri Keshgarh Sahib and now Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Sukhbir Singh Badal is obligated to complete his sentence at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib and Sri Muktsar Sahib.
