Punjab shocker: Social media influencer Kamal Kaur found dead in parked car near Bathinda's Adesh Medical University
PTC Web Desk: In a shocking incident, the body of Punjab's social media influencer Kamal Kaur was found in a parked car near Adesh Medical University in Bathinda Wednesday night. The police are suspecting it to be a murder case and have launched a probe.
Kamal Kaur, fondly known as Kamal bhabhi, was a resident of Ludhiana and a prominent Instagram figure with over 3,83,000 followers. She was known for her frequent reel uploads, some of which had stirred controversy in the past. Her sudden death has sent shockwaves through both her followers and the local community.
According to police officials, initial findings suggest that she might have been murdered elsewhere, with her body later transported in a car registered in Ludhiana district. The vehicle was found abandoned in the medical university’s parking lot.
A strong odor emanating from the car reportedly alerted passersby, who then informed the authorities. Upon arrival, the police found Kaur’s body inside the vehicle and initiated a formal inquiry.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bathinda, Amneet Kondal, confirmed that a forensic team has been deployed to assist in the investigation. “Prima facie, the circumstances indicate foul play. An FIR under murder charges is being registered,” she stated.
Further details, including the cause of death and any possible suspects, are awaited pending forensic examination and post-mortem reports.
