Punjab: 8 youth killed from drug overdose in 72 hours

Anti-drug initiatives by Captain led Congress government seems like a far fetched dream as 8 youth have been killed due to drug overdose in the last 72 hours in Punjab.
One of the deceased identified as Satnam Singh, was a wrestler from Ferozpur who had overdosed himself with drugs. As he was taken to the hospital, he was announced dead on arrival. In another case, a youth from Jandiala has lost his life to drug overdose in the last 72 hours.
On Friday, two youths were found dead due to drug overdose at a house in Chheharta area. One of the deceased was son of AAP leader Moti Lal Pasi, who along with his wife had gone to Chandigarh for his wife’s treatment.
