Punjab actor Jimmy Shergill among 4 booked for flouting COVID-19 norms
FIR against Jimmy Shergill: Punjabi actor Jimmy Shergill has been booked in Ludhiana for flouting COVID-19 norms enforced by the Punjab government including the night curfew.
According to the information, the crew continued shooting in Ludhiana during the night curfew which has been imposed by the Punjab government.

The police registered an FIR against Jimmy Shergill and three other people for violating Punjab's government order regarding COVID-19. Even as the Ludhiana Police registered a case against Jimmy Shergill under the Pandemic Act and other relevant sections.

It has been reported that Jimmy somehow managed to escape but the Ludhiana police are soon going to Patiala to arrest him.
It is worth mentioning that Ludhiana is the worst-affected district in the state. On Tuesday, Ludhiana itself recorded more than 1,100 new cases while the whole state added around 6,000 new cases.
The Punjab government has imposed a lockdown in the state on weekends and night curfew timings have been extended. Now, the night curfew comes into force from 6 pm to 5 am. The shops in the state get closed by 5 pm.
