Patiala, September 15: The district administration has completed all preparations with the support of the army for the recruitment of the youth across 6 districts of Punjab, Sangrur, Mansa, Barnala, Patiala, Malerkotla and Fatehgarh Sahib. Drive will start from September 17 by the Indian Army at Patiala. This was stated  by Deputy Commissioner Sakshi during a high-level meeting with army, civil and district police officials to review the military recruitment arrangements. Also Read | AAP initiates 3-level probe into ‘audio leak’ case of Punjab Minister Fauja Singh Sarari The Deputy Commissioner said that on September 17 at 2.30 am at the recruitment ground in front of the Patiala Aviation Club at Army Area on Sangrur Road, the youths who have already registered for the recruitment and obtained the admit card will start entering for the physical tests. The Deputy Commissioner while reviewing the arrangements made by the civil and police administration for the recruitment rally said that traffic diversion, medical emergency facility, mobile toilets, drinking water tankers, RG tarpaulin shelter to avoid rain, lights, on one side of Sangrur Road. All the arrangements of barricading for traffic management, security arrangements by the police, grass cutting and cleaning by the Municipal Corporation are complete. Apart from this, the posting of duty magistrates and PRTC. Buses have been arranged for transportation of youth from Patiala city. During the meeting, Director of Recruitment Col. Asish Lal said that 27 thousand young candidates from six districts are participating in the recruitment rally from September 17 to September 30, for whose recruitment a district-wise roster has been made. He thanked the Deputy Commissioner for the support provided by the district administration and said that the recruitment will be made successful by the army with the support of the civil and police administration. Colonel Asish Lal said that the admission of the candidates will be from gate number 3 from 2:30 am to 6 am and will be exited from gate number 2. He said that candidates for medical will enter through gate number 1 the next day.
