Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Sucha Singh Chhotepur joins SAD, to contest from Batala
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: In a major boost to Shiromani Akali Dal, former Cabinet minister Sucha Singh Chhotepur on Thursday joined the party in the presence of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal.
The SAD president also announced his new role as senior vice president of the party and his candidature from the Batala constituency ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections 2022.

Sucha Singh Chhotepur called for total Punjabi and Panthic unity under one Akali flag to save Panth, Punjab, and Punjabis, upholding Punjab’s dignity and glory from massive assault from outsiders.
