Kiev (Ukraine), March 12: Russian soldiers are preparing a massive offensive in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev, revealed the latest satellite pictures released by the US company Maxar. The images revealed Russian activity including armoured units and towed artillery at the Hostomel Airfield, a crucial location near Kiev. According to Ukraine's media outlet The Kyiv Independent, Russia continues to throw additional military power west and east of Kiev in an attempt to possibly surround and penetrate the capital. British Defense Ministry, in its Friday intelligence briefing, said, "Russia is likely seeking to reset and re-posture its forces for renewed offensive activity in the coming days, adding "This will probably include operations against the capital, Kiev." According to The Kyiv Independent, the enemy forces also destroyed a local oil depot while the fire broke out at an ammunition depot. As the tensions escalate, the death toll continues to rise with each passing day. As per Ukraine's media outlet, Russia's war killed a total of 79 Ukrainian children.
