SAD appoints 6 Zone presidents of SOI
Adding to a series of steps to gear up as well as boost its cadre for the forthcoming Parliamentary polls, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today announced the appointment of six zone presidents of the Student Organization of India (SOI), a Student Wing of the party.

At the party headquarters, this announcement was made by General Secretary In charge of the Youth Wing S. Bikram Singh Majithia along with President SOI, S. Parminder Singh Brar after having extensive discussions with the SAD president S. Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Speaking about the role of youth in nation building, S. Majithia said students always played a constructive role as they overflowed with new ideas as well as enthusiasm to make a positive change in society. “So the SAD always encourages the youth to work for the welfare of the society as the ‘message of Sarbat da Bhala’ enshrined in our holy granths teaches us to serve mankind” he added.

Divulging details about new appointments, SAD leader said Gourav Valtoha has been appointed as president of Majha zone which covered Amritsar, Taran Taaran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts while Amritpal Dalli was appointed president of Doaba Zone covering Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar districts.

Giving further information, he said Robin Brar and Gursewak Golu had been assigned as presidents of Malwa Zone one and two of Bathinda,Mansa, Mukatsar, Faridkot and Fazilka districts and Patiala, Sangrur and Barnala districts respectively. Malwa Zone three and four were assigned to Sarbjit Singh Jhinjer and Akash Bhattal respectively with Fatehgath Sahib, Mohali, Ropar and Ludhiana Khanna districts falling in the former Zone and Ludhiana Urban, Ludhiana Jagraon, Moga and Firozpur in the latter Zone
