SAD sings support for agitating farmers
Punjab Farmers Protest: Joining hands with the protesting farmers, the Shiromani Akali Dal has released a song supporting them in their fight against the three agriculture-related bills.
The farmers, Khet Mazdoors, labourers, and Shiromani Akali Dal, have been opposing the passing of the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020, and Essential Commodities Act.

The song features farmers who work hard in fields and the SAD president, Sukhbir Singh Badal, who strongly opposed the farmer bills in Lok Sabha.
Also, it features former Union Minister of Food Processing, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who resigned from the Union Cabinet in a protest against the bills.

"O vekh le khad gae fir Akali naal kisaana de," the lyrics which demonstrate the efforts being made by the Shiromani Akali Dal to not let the farmer bills implemented in the state.
In the video, Sukhbir Singh Badal is seen saying that "No ministry, no government, no alliance is important. For us, farming is important and if anyone would try to attack farmers, we will fight for them.
The video ends with a slogan that reads: "Ikko Naara, Kisaan Pyaara."
