Sidhu Moosewala death case: Singer's aides friends Kanwarpal Grewal, Jyoti Pandher booked
Chandigarh, August 28, 2022: Former associates of the slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, Kanwarpal Grewal and Jyoti Pandher, have been arrested by Mansa police for their alleged involvement in his murder.

Kanwarpal Grewal is an established name in the Punjabi music industry who is said to run a music studio. Jyoti Pandher is a friend of Kanwar, who too, reportedly runs a music studio.
Both were friends with Sidhu Moosewala in the early days and also have pictures taken with him.
In 2020, Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh filed a lawsuit against Jyoti Pandher and Kanwarpal Grewal for leaking Sidhu Moosewala songs and causing him financial loss
Earlier, Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaur Singh, alleged that some of Sidhu Moosewala's friends were involved in his murder. Even these names were added to the FIR after Balkaur Singh's complaint.
Additionally, the names of two of Sidhu Moosewala's neighbors, Jagtar Singh and Avtar Singh, appear in the indictment. Jagtar used to be quite close with Sidhu Moosewala and was his promoter.
Moosewala used to communicates with Kanwarpal and Jyoti Pandher only through Jagtar. However, later Sidhu Moosewala got into a dispute with Jagtar over an issue.
It is believed that CCTV cameras installed in Jagtar's house were used to spy on Sidhu Moosewala. Police are investigating these allegations and their role in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
