Arshdeep Singh receives warm welcome in Punjab ; victory march to take place from Chandigarh Airport to Kharar

Arshdeep Singh receives warm welcome in Punjab | The young bowling sensation and T20 World Cup champion, Pacer Arshdeep Singh, the highest wicket-taker for India in the tournament with 17 scalps returns home to India's T20 World Cup 2024 triumph with his family and fans. 

The left-arm speedster who played a pivotal role in India's victorious campaign received a warm welcome at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh. Fans, family, and friends gathered in large numbers to greet the cricketer, whose stellar performance.  


In celebration of his achievements, a T20 World Cup victory march is scheduled to take place from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport Chandigarh to Kharar. This procession will be an opportunity for fans to express their admiration and gratitude for Arshdeep’s contributions to Indian cricket. The streets are expected to be lined with supporters, waving flags and cheering for their local hero.

Indian Cricketer Arshdeep Singh says, "I am feeling very happy. I will enjoy and spend time with my family..."

The left-arm speedster played a pivotal role in India's victorious campaign last month in the 20-team T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. He finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker at the marquee event, scalping 17 wickets from eight games at an average of 12.65 and a strike rate of 10.59. In the summit clash against South Africa, Arshdeep bagged the crucial wickets of Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram, as the Men in Blue won by just seven runs at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
