Indian hockey team leaves for Australia for five-match Test series

PTC Web Desk: The Indian Men's Hockey Team departed from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Monday evening, embarking on their journey to Australia for an intense five-match Test series. Scheduled to commence on April 6 in Perth, this series holds paramount importance as the team gears up for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

Showcasing their prowess during the FIH Pro League 2023-24 in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, the team, led by Harmanpreet Singh, demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience. With victories in three out of four matches in Bhubaneswar and maintaining an unbeaten streak in Rourkela, the team has set high expectations for their performance against Australia.


Hockey India

The five-match Test series will kick off on April 6, followed by matches on April 7, 10, 12, and 13, promising fans an exciting display of hockey talent.
