ODI World Cup 2023: Ahead of the Cricket World Cup final scheduled on November 19 in Ahmedabad, the Indian Air Force's renowned Surya Kiran aerobatic team is set to captivate audiences with an exhilarating air show, as announced by a Gujarat Defence PRO.
The Defence PRO disclosed that the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will showcase a ten-minute spectacle just before the commencement of the final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in the Motera area. Rehearsals for this air show are slated for Friday and Saturday, leading up to the grand event.
India's advancement to the ODI World Cup final, secured after a triumphant win against New Zealand, has heightened the anticipation. The final showdown will feature India against the victor of the second semi-final match between Australia and South Africa.
The Surya Kiran aerobatic team, a stalwart of the Indian Air Force, typically comprises nine aircraft and boasts a history of enthralling spectators with numerous air shows across the nation. Renowned for its signature loop manoeuvres in victory formation, barrel roll displays, and crafting various shapes in the sky, the team promises a captivating display of aerial prowess and precision.
