Sri Lankan Navy arrests 18 Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan Waters The Sri Lankan Navy has arrested eighteen Indian fishermen for poaching in Sri Lankan’s waters on Friday. The Navy arrested them in the seas 16 nautical miles west of Point Pedro during a naval patrol. The Navy also seized three dhows used by them. They have been brought to SLNS Uttara in Jaffna and were taken for the medical test.
