Sukhbir Singh Badal, Harsimrat Kaur Badal extend greetings on 72nd Army Day
Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Wednesday extended their greetings to the Indian Army on 72nd Army Day. Sukhbir Singh Badal said, "On 72nd Army Day, I salute the brave soldiers of Indian Army for their countless sacrifices and selfless commitment towards the safety and security of the nation and its people."
Meanwhile, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal took to twitter and wrote: "On 72nd Army Day, I extend warm greetings to all serving soldiers of Indian Army, veterans and their families and also pay my highest respect to those who made the supreme sacrifice."
Bikram Singh Majithia wrote: "Guided by the National interests, the Indian Army has always stood like a wall to safeguard the citizens of the country. I send across best wishes to the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army on the Army Day."

Likewise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a tweet, "Our Army is known for its valour and professionalism. It is also respected for its humanitarian spirit.
