'The Kashmir Files’ brings back 30-years-old sore memories
March 14, 2022: The harsh Documentation 'The Kashmir Files' directed by Vivek Agnihotri has made every viewer emotional as the film showcases the plight faced by Kashmiri Hindus during 1990. A large percent of the viewers who have lost their loved ones were seen walking out of theatres crying their heart out.
The movie is a heart-wrenching narrative of the pain, suffering, struggle and trauma of Kashmiri Pandits. The film is trending on twitter as a large number of the viewers are requesting everyone to watch the fictional movie. The movie has the sentiments attached of the people who had suffered the atrocities in 1990.

Many celebrities and political leaders urged the people of India to go watch Kashmir Files. Union Minister Smriti Irani tweeted: "Watch …so that this history soaked in the blood of innocents may never repeat itself #TheKashmirFiles."
Veteran player Suresh Raina also tweeted: "It’s your film now. If the film touches your heart, I’d request you to raise your voice for the #RightToJustice and heal the victims of Kashmir Genocide."
The harsh and reality based movie has also brought into light the wishes of the Pandit community to abrogate Article 370 believing that it could solve its long pending problems including their defection again in Kashmir. The movie also throws light on the atrocities committed against minorities after 1990.

The movie revolves around two main problems which includes continuous failure of the government to give justice to the community. The movie also showcase the sensationalism the media promoted there whose main aim was to mislead the nation about the real situation of Kashmiri Pandits.
Meanwhile, Gujarat, Madhya pradesh, Karnatka Government also grants tax-free status to the movie. 'The Kashmir Files' team has also got appreciation from Prime Minister Modi.
