AI won’t let replace humans, says Infosys founder Narayana Murthy

PTC News Desk: In a recent interview, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy shared his thoughts on the question of whether artificial intelligence (AI) will one day replace humans. 

Murthy was speaking at the 67th Foundation Day of All India Management Association (AIMA) last week where he argued that AI has definitely made life more comfortable but will never be able to replace humans because of its limited ability to think and reason. Though we have seen computers helped to bridge the gap in many areas, AI is fulfilling its role.

Infosys founder further stated that AI is great at performing computations and analysing data quickly and accurately, but it cannot think through complex problems or reason through situations. He believes that humans have an edge over AI because of their ability to think and reason. 

Murthy also pointed out that ChatBot or AI will continue to improve and become more powerful, but it will never be able to replace humans in the workplace as it needs a lot of creativity. He believes that AI will only be able to supplement the work that humans do, and it will never be able to replace them. 

Murthy also believes that AI has the potential to help humans in many ways. He believes that AI can be used to automate tasks and make them more efficient and accurate. He believes that AI can also be used to help humans make better decisions by providing data-driven insights. 

In conclusion, Murthy believes that AI will never be able to replace humans because of its limited ability to think and reason. He believes that AI can only supplement the work that humans do, and it can help humans make better decisions. He believes that AI has the potential to help humans in many ways, but it will never be able to fully replace them.
