Dussehra 2023: Celebrations across India with district administration's grandeur
Dussehra, 2023: It is a significant Hindu festival symbolising the triumph of good over evil, has once again been celebrated with great fervor across the country. This year, the festivities were marked by elaborate arrangements orchestrated by the district administrations, including the traditional burning of effigies of Ravana, Meghnath, and Kumbhakarna at various locations in Punjab.
In Bathinda, as in previous years, Dussehra was celebrated with immense enthusiasm at the MSD School, where the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnath were set ablaze. The school's students presented a vibrant programme, adding to the festive spirit. The local police ensured stringent security measures to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators. The city residents showed remarkable enthusiasm for the Dussehra celebrations, highlighting the enduring importance of this cultural event.
