Ludhiana encounter news: On Wednesday evening, a notable gangster, Sukhdev Singh, also known as Vicky and wanted in relation to recent robbery cases in Ludhiana, met his end in a police encounter along the Kohara-Machhiwara road. The crossfire ensued when Sukhdev Singh, a resident of Machhiwara, engaged in gunfire while attempting to escape from the CIA cops of Ludhiana police, ultimately resulting in his demise, confirmed Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal.

Vicky, entangled in a web of 28 criminal cases spread across multiple police stations in Punjab, had a history rife with notoriety. Notably, he and his cohorts were involved in a robbery where they assaulted a chemist in Jamalpur and an employee of a wine shop in Sehnewal.

Police Commissioner Chahal revealed that the police received information regarding Vicky's whereabouts. Subsequently, the CIA team initiated a pursuit, leading to a confrontation that culminated in crossfire resulting in Vicky's demise.

He fired four to five shots at a CIA-2 police team, under the leadership of CIA inspector Beant Juneja, along with three other officers.
