On Saturday, a video of a man in Kanpur doing the "Titanic" posture while riding a bike went viral. Along with the Rs 12,000 fine, a complaint has been filed against him.

PTC News Desk: The viral footage captures the man standing on the moving bike, attempting a 'Titanic' pose. The incident occurred in the Ganga Barrage area within the Nawanganj Police Station's jurisdiction.

Following the video's circulation on social media, the Kanpur Police registered a case against him under section 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for endangering the lives of others. Additionally, the Unnao Police, as the bike was registered there, imposed a Rs 12,000 fine under the relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act.


Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mahesh Kumar stated to the media, "Today, a bike stunt video is going viral on social media... Police have immediately taken cognisance of the video. A case is going to be registered... Through the number plate details, we found out that the bike was registered in Unnao. We have also directed the Unnao Police to impose a penalty under the MV Act..."

This incident echoes a previous occurrence where a man was fined Rs 5,000 by the Kanpur Police for performing a dangerous wheelie stunt in front of police officers in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur.
