SSC GD Results 2024: Vacancies increase to over 46K ahead of score announcement – Check revised posts here
PTC News Desk: A updated list of open positions for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 has been made public by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The 46,617 positions are up for grabs. Approximately 41,467 of these positions are open to male candidates, and 5,150 are open to female candidates.
There were just 26,000 GD constables available in the preceding recruitment.
The positions have been distributed for male and female candidates according to state, category, force, and gender.

Through the official website, ssc.gov.in, candidates can view the revised list of available SSC GD constable positions for 2024. The updated vacancy list has been released by the commission in PDF format.
How to find the 2024 SSC GD Constable Vacancy
Step 1: Go to ssc.gov.in, the commission's official website.
Step 2: Under the 'For Candidates' section, select the 'Tentative Vacancy' tab.
Step 3: Choose the exam for GD Constable.
Step 4: Click the link for the SSC GD 2024 tentative vacancies.
Step 5: Download the PDF for the updated SSC GD vacancies 2024.

It should be noted that in February and March of this year, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) held the recruitment exam for the positions of Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, SSF, and Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The test's answer key has been made public, and the outcome will probably follow. Candidates can check the SSC GD result on ssc.gov.in after it is announced.
There were two stages to the Constable GD exam. Initially, the test was administered by the commission from February 20 to March 7. A second exam was held on March 30 in response to concerns raised by a few candidates regarding technical difficulties that occurred during the test.
