Bengaluru: Warren Buffett-inspired peanut vendor's strategy wins hearts
PTC News Desk: Bengaluru is known for its tech-savvy and quirky approach to a variety of problems. Netizens frequently share something unusual they've seen in the city, dubbed Peak Bengaluru.
An X user (@vishnubogi) posted a photo of a street vendor selling peanuts, and what set him apart was his marketing skills. While many street vendors entice customers by speaking witty lines at the top of their voices, this vendor took a slightly more sophisticated approach.
On his cart, the vendor displayed two posters, one of which was a play on a famous quote by American business magnate and investor Warren Buffett. The first of his two rules was "never lose a customer." The second rule is to never forget the first rule.
In the other poster, he listed the nutritional value, protein, unsaturated fats, fibre, vitamins E and B, minerals, and prevention of heart disease as advantages of eating peanuts.
The vendor's innovative marketing approach was lauded and admired in the comments section, demonstrating that wisdom, even from a legendary investor like Buffett, can transcend industries and inspire even the most humble businesses.
