Major theatre chains and independent cinemas across the country are participating in this event. Check with your local theatre to see if they are offering the Rs 99 tickets on Cinema Lovers Day.
Popular chains like PVR Cinemas, INOX, Cinepolis, and Carnival Cinemas are expected to participate, making it easier for moviegoers to find a nearby location
The CEO of PVR Inox Pictures and president of the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), Kamal Gianchandani, stated that this program will be implemented on about 4,000 screens across the country.
About 90–95% of the seats will be available at the discounted price, while luxury formats like recliners are not included in this offer.
Many single-screen theatres will also take part, especially in the South, where some will sell tickets for as little as Rs 70, which is even cheaper than Rs 99.
Gianchandani anticipates that the summer holiday season for theaters will get underway with this deal.
