Viral video of seven suns in China sparks debate: Real or just VFX?
PTC Web Desk: A video recently went viral on social media, showing what appeared to be seven suns lined up in the sky. The unusual footage, recorded in Chengdu, Sichuan, South-West China, sparked a wave of reactions online.
Social media users had varied responses to the video. One user quipped, “How much did China pay their graphic artists?” while another found it “very unique.” Skeptics, however, were quick to dismiss the clip as a product of visual effects. “If this really happened, why is there only one video online? Are mobile phones and cameras banned in that city? This is just a beginner VFX student’s video project,” one user argued.
Another pointed out, “It looks fake. All the suns have identical marks.” Meanwhile, some users expressed a sense of awe and disbelief. “Nature can be scary,” one commented, while another simply stated, “No way in hell that's real.” Another added, “Must be VERY RARE, it’s never happened before.”
