Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh), February 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a swipe at previous governments in Uttar Pradesh and said that the dynasts want poor to be always at their feet and keep revolving around them. He further added that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cares for the poor. While addressing a public rally at Barabanki, PM Modi stated "Dynasts want the poor to be always at their feet and keep revolving around them. We care for the poor and are working to resolve problems of their lives." Further, the Prime Minister said that the poor of UP is standing with the BJP and blessing them in all phases of the polls. 'Dynasts always want poor at feet' PM Modi stated that previous governments had turned a blind eye to the problems faced by women. "If they had even a little empathy, would they have given the freedom to goons who used to molest our school-going daughters? Today goons know that if they cross boundaries, strict action will be taken," he continued. PM Modi also stated that the development of the people of Uttar Pradesh accelerates India's growth. "The ability of the people of Uttar Pradesh improves the ability of the Indian people. However, dynasty-oriented governments in Uttar Pradesh did not do justice to the state's capacity for decades," the PM added. Amid tight security arrangements, the polling across nine districts of UP as part of Phase 4th elections 2022 has begun on Wednesday. Polling is underway in all 59 constituencies and nine districts from 7 am in the morning and will come to an end till 6 pm in the evening. The nine districts are Fatehpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Pilibhit, Sitapur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, and Banda. Meanwhile, the previous three phases of polling in Uttar Pradesh concluded on February 10, 13, and 20, respectively. The fourth phase elections are underway while the remaining three phases of the seven-phase UP elections 2022 will take place on February 27, March 3, and March 7, respectively.
