Uttar Pradesh Acid Attack: In a shocking incident, three Dalit sisters, all of them minors, were allegedly attacked with acid in UP's Gonda district on Tuesday. As per the report, all three Dalit sisters were asleep inside their residence. The other two, aged 12 and 8, escaped with 25 percent and 5 percent burn injuries in the Uttar Pradesh acid attack, respectively. The police has registered an FIR against unknown persons. Gonda SP Shailesh Kumar Pandey said that the police received information that 3 girls were attacked with some chemical. The eldest girl among the three Dalit sisters received the maximum burn injury during Acid attack. An investigation into the case has been started. The family members told the police that at around 2 am, all the three sisters came running downstairs, screaming in pain. Their father thought the burn injuries were from a gas cylinder.
